Learning About Affiliate Marketing

in Monetise Your Blog

I’m currently researching the world (virtual universe) of affiliate marketing. My intention is to record what I learn in a blog and then use that blog to promote products related to all aspects of getting online and becoming an affiliate, and working towards being a super-affiliate.

None of this is particularly easy and part of what I want to achieve is plot that journey, so that I can use it as a reference point in the future. Imagine, I would have a resource that I could use as a way to set the expectation of new website owners when embarking on fledgeling online careers.

Many of my clients have no desire to become super affiliates, but they still underestimate the work involved in running a successful website. Unless you have an amazingly huge budget, you are going to need to learn about the finer points of promoting your site online, just so you can outsource the bits of work that you don’t really want to do.

Many small-business people simply want to create a website (or rather have a website created), and then have that site make them lots of money, as if by magic. That isn’t the way it works, and that news can come as an unwelcome surprise.

My blog isn’t quite ready, but as soon as it is, I’ll publish a link to it here.

Yeah – I will. I’m following a couple of courses at the moment and will condense the knowledge I get from those on the blog. Shouldn’t be long now.
