If you check through some of those (and they are by means not the only ones), you’ll see you can host in the US for under $10 per month, (under £6 by current exchange rates). There is nothing wrong with hosting your blog in the States. But if you look around you’ll also find UK companies with low cost hosting too.

Thank you for sharing this article. I found it very useful and it followed on from the advice you gave a little while back. But how much in essence will it cost? I think this is bottom line form most people. You said a few pounds a month, but how much is this?

Also, is there any way to recover this cost?
